Here is where we will be placing material on anything to do with the area of your home in which cooking usually takes place; the area commonly known as the kitchen; except the actual cooking. Basically this section is about the part of the home where cooking customarily takes place: the kitchen itself rather than the activity that is customarily performed in the kitchen.

I have no kitchen here in my little room in Halifax Nova Scotia in a rooming-house; but out at my country-home in Sheet Harbour Nova Scotia I have a nice wood-fired kitchen. Actually my entire house in Sheet Harbour is wood-fired; it has no furnace. It is an old courthouse, over a hundred years old; but the kitchen is more-recent addition to the old structure. Using a wood stove for heat in nice for certain kinds of cooking, such as long-simmering soups and stews. Since the stove in the kitchen is on all the time in the winter anyway just to heat the house, it is nice to always have some soup or stew simmering. I just wish I had more visitors out there; when I had the place in town that I used to call 10-4 Ward I had enough visitors that I seldom had to worry about making too much soup or stew... I had plenty of visitors who were quite happy to help me eat it. But so far my circle of friends is not very mobile; most have no vehicle. So although I have a whole real kitchen with a lovely airtight-style wood stove, and thus get to keep a nice soup or stew on the simmer in the kitchen all day every day in the cold seasons, I don't have as many people drop by to help me eat the stuff as I'd like to have. I guess part of what I'd like to accomplish with the whole make money project and related projects for making money on the internet is to help plenty of my friends to get rich enough to afford vehicles, so they can easily come visit my kitchen! ;) :)
