Gardening is often regarded as a recreational activity, but it was not always so and for many people it is still an important part of sheer survival. Basically gardening usually means agriculture and horticulture undertaken on a relatively small scale. At some point in the larger scales of gardening one starts to use the term farming, particularly when gardening is done on an industrial scale.

Here we are not presently much concerned with farming as small scale gardening and recreational gardening. But there is nothing wrong with making a little profit along with one's fun! Gardening for Fun and Profit is very popular, and even just writing about gardening for fun and profit on the world wide web is also very popular. There are many gardeners who write about their gardening and garden-related adventures, and many other gardening topics, and of course we are always on the lookout for more. We have created a Gardening Blogs section linking to the most interesting garden-related blogs we have so far found.
